I know it’s spelled not to remove work but I actually do want it to remove a spell, but only one.

Yes you can
Unhex IS for removing spellwork. I know someone that used unhex to remove a particular spell and it worked just fine. In the description for some of Lala's spelled candles it says, "Can be removed with unhex" Since it's not a full unhex candle IDK if it will be as or just as effective, but if it's not a strong spell it should work just fine...that's just my opinion. 🤷🏽♀️
