I know I have some blockages so I’m doing a new Crossroads today. I noticed when I received it there was some kind of oil on the box. Over been burning it for a couple of hours, and there is black smoke coming from it. I’m trying to determine if maybe it’s burning off some of that oil or if it’s something I need to snuff and start again. Also, I’m wondering if the black smoke on this particular candle could just signify the candle working on the blockages?

Black smoke could mean the candle is working through things. You can snuff the candle if you want when that happens push the herbs to the side and trim the wick… then see if it continues. And alot of Lala’s spelled candles have oils in them.
