Damballah Wedo: Snake bite Dream

I personally feel like Damballah could be delivering a message to you. Maybe search what dreams of snakes mean. I don’t feel as though Damballah was attacking you. It could mean something else as in a warning. As long as you have Damballah’s altar separate from where you perform your hoodoo/conjure work, then you should be fine. There has been times where I’ve burn spelled and had Damballah’s candle burning and he still answered my petition. Also i noticed you stated that you’ve honored Legba in the past, so I’m assuming you went through Legba for permission to work with Damballah? When all else fails, unless the LWA comes to you directly, always go through Legba first to see if it would be okay to work with other Lwas. There’s a reason why this must be done.

@lfe plus if that was the case and you could burn spelled candles why does it specifically say in all of his bio’s he does not like loud smells … lalas spelled candles are loud smells and they smell amazing … common sense if the alters are in the same room or even in short distance from eachother he will not and does not like it …. Every book , article , even in lalas book it says “no loud smells “ …..

Lala has said that you can honor the lwa/light their candle, and still have other candles burning at the same time.

@Alana❤️ Richardson❤️ I didn’t know you were a Damballah Wedo devotee 💚 He is so kind and wonderful it’s funny how he makes his presence known I’ve seen his wife in dreams when I’m battling a struggling with acting on my emotions…. @On Red If it was me I would relight him but first give respect to the spirits of Venus today and explain to him that you made a mistake you were just trying to show him gratitude and see what he says then I wouldn’t wait until next Thursday. I’m only saying this because when I remolded and made a larger space for him I had to explain to him what I was doing and why to make sure things were good between us.

Good because that wasn’t my intention …. But I’ve had a dream like that as well so that’s how I know it means he is unhappy . My case was the fact I went so long without honoring him due to family problems but I love how gentle he is . Like he gives you a little tap like those kind of dreams . You will be fine though and sorry it’s early in the am here so my positive happy side hasn’t set in yet because I haven’t had my coffee

Not downing you I’m just being real with you and if you take it as me downing you then that’s a you problem . Some lwa are more understanding than others . Like trying something like this with freda is a no no . To many jump into hoodoo and vodou and don’t read up on the lwa and the basic understanding of lwa . You should be glad the only lash back you got from Damballah is a dream like that some lwa don’t play and a dream that is a nightmare like that is just a cake walk compared to what others could do ….

Sounds to me like Damballah got on you for that …. Those bites were punishment for burning spelled and conjured …. When you honor him … you only honor him on his day … that is mad disrespect what u did tbh in his eyes no wonder he reacted that way … see this is a perfect example on why y’all must read the booklet and educate yourselves before jumping into stuff u no nothing about 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
