Can some of you guys post some pics of your alters. I have no clue on where to start and what should be on it. I have a few candles but I haven’t started cuz I wanna do it right and I don’t want to offend or disrespect any of the ancestors with a simple mistake or misplacement. Maybe I’m over thinking it but there’s no harm in asking. Truly appreciate it.

You don’t have to burn the candles on an altar. Just a clean safe space. Definitely don’t burn on an ancestral altar.
I don't burn my spelled or conjure candles on my ancestor altar. You just need a safe small area for you to do your magic. Decorate how you want it. I always add a glass of water specifically for conjure candles but my spirit candles like the water also. I have a metal tray to but the candles on and crystals around my tray.
