since the candles switched from glass my candles are throwing so much black smoke where my walls and dressers are black. I had to literally use bleach to wipe all the smoke from my door, dresser and wall ( wall didn’t work). I have done u unhex and soul purge with Lala‘s daughter and also burned Unhex (came in glass), halo (also in glass) and everything was clean and clear no black smoke. now I tried burning DA it was throwing black smoke like crazy, had to snuff it. Then 3 days later I tried GF and same thing. I did trim the wick. I do always cleanse ( Florida water and sage). Is it just me experiencing this since candles switched to tin can?

I did 4th POJ in large tin can. First 3 hours all black smokes then cleared up. Open your windows maybe that would help. I had mine open the entire time it’s burning.
Did that no luck
Get a large candle holder so the soot stays inside of the container instead.
Trim the wick before burning. Trim it to 1/4 inch
Wow!! I’ve only burned the ones in the large silver tins and haven’t had any problems with black smoke at all.
The first time I lit my Legba candle I had soot everywhere. To the point I had to paint 3 walls. This was in January or February. The next time I lit the my legba candle no soot. Only difference is when i had soot the windows was closed.
@The Conjure (Lala) please help. I don’t want to throw away 4 candles but I can’t let them burn also because they throw crazy amount of smoke and my walls and doors are already black from the DA. Please don’t get me wrong I am not complaining just asking for suggestion. Thanks
