Hey guys! I am still a newbie and am wanting to potentially purchase one of the rites especially with the special going on. I have tried searching the forums and I’ve seen that usually Papa Legba is purchased first but I am focusing the majority of my work around Love and am dealing with a Stubborn target. Should I purchase Legba or go straight to Mercury or Venus rites? I appreciate any advice!

For a stubborn target, I would recommend the Mercury Rite, as it combines the 2nd and 5th Pentacles of Mercury. 2nd is worked with when you have a stubborn target. 5th opens doors in areas you need them opened. Papa Legba can be worked with to layer it. But, to work with the Solomonic Rites, Papa Legba doesn’t have to be conjured first. If you are wanting to work with other lwa spirits, you’d ask Papa Legba for access to those spirits.
You can do either legba or mercury rite... lwa is different from. Solomonic rites.... legba removes blockages and open doors. Mercury rite removes blockages and open doors as well as bend free will.
