So, since I started over I started doing something different and notice a change in how I feel once my candles finish. When I burned Halo, after I finished my chanting (and I know it was suggested not to, but I had an overwhelming feeling todo so) I burned my petition in the flame. Once Healing was finished I added my petition to the candle tin and sealed it with super glue before burying it (sealed Halo the same way). If you don't mind me asking, what do you do with your petition once your candle is done?
