My mom's been trying to sell her house for 2 years almost now so I wanted to burn the 5th pentacle of mercury as suggested by lala... but do I go to her house and burn it with her or does she have to do at because she's not familiar with the candles like I am or can I do it myself from my house?

I believe you can do it for her. I’ve lit candles at my altar for others on their behalf. Works great. I would also burn the 5th pentacle of the sun as well (moving/transport) candle after the 5th pentacle of mercury.
