Looking for altar inspiration

I just created my ancestor altar...I started very simple with a white candle and a glass of water. I prayed to my ancestor for protection and guidance. You don’t need a fancy setup for an altar your ancestor will guide you and yu will build it over time. Just remember to always keep fresh water and never offer and seasoned food to your ancestors.

My alter is sacred i place a Clear glass of water in the middle in front of the picture honey to the south dark liquor to the west candle on the east holy water on the north. On top oglf a white lace cloth

My alter is sacred, but its incense (air) to the north, water to the south, fire which is your candle to the east, earth, crystal or plant to the west

I started with an ancestral alter . White lace cloth. My aunt that passed, my bible, white candles sometimes i put honey, dark rum or hennessy which she liked and sometimes harvest fruit (seasonal)❤
