6 hours or let it burn out. Which is better

So after hundreds of candles later I'm finally considering letting my candle burn for 6-8 hours then snuffing it to use again later. I usually let my candles completely burn out. To everyone who has done both ways or either way, do you still get good results? I would love to start saving some money on these candles 😂
