I usually have my altar set up in my living room but I just started taking clients again (I work from home), and my mercury candles are burning slightly slower than my other candles have burned in the past. Can I move the candles to my bedroom just while my clients are here, and then move them back?

Just a suggestion...if you know you are working from home...Light the candles im a place where it wont need to be moved while working
I don't see why not, I've moved mine before. I snuff them, find a new spot, cleanse and do the full Conjure
