I was just wondering do we work conjure candles before spelled or spelled before conjure? So with Mercury + Mercury + Crossroads would I chant and activate the conjure candles and then chant the crossroad candle?

You don’t dismiss the spirits of the spelled candle just for the conjured ones, you can thank them instead.
Ok you would do the spelled first and chant and then conjure you just lighting two candles and not one (layered) it’s the same process
If it’s a layered candle you chant first the conjure
