Dream about target 3 days after obsession

I lit my obsession candle 6 days after my halo. Last night was day 3 after lighting obsession. I had a dream about my target. He was using terms of "we" and "us" . It was also weird that a sign and hook fell while my obsession was lit. Half of me thinks both the dream and the sign falling are a coincidence, the other half thinks it might mean more. Is this normal?
