Self Love Altar and Spelled Candles

I know pictures of self aren’t necessary when doing work for yourself with Spelled candles (Like Halo) since you are present. However I do have a Self Love Altar with items I use for myself and where I go to when I need a boost. I have a picture of myself and a note written to me by someone. My intuition tells me to do my work with Lala’s spelled candles on that altar. I don’t do work on my ancestor altar that isn’t directly for them or petitioning them. I’m asking to hear any testimony from others who do work with the spelled candles on their self love altar. I searched and didn’t find any post.
