Can I sat the candle in something and put the picture underneath the pan for sweetening candle ?

Not discouraging you but I would’ve did it underneath the candle with the sand. But maybe somebody else might know something else, I’ll snuff it after 6 hrs then redo that’s just me, help us family
I just did it and I put the picture underneath the pan do you think it will be ok, I saw the flame dancing and smoking was coming from it
I would use sand from a craft store to put the candle in with pic underneath inside of a pan
