For a newbie: Can I honor my ancestors while burning Lala’s candle, at the same time in the same area “alter” I don’t have an alter as of yet.. I just use any space tht my intuition tells me to.. and does anyone have any suggestions as far as how one should start lighting for ancestors & positive guides without negative entities interfering as I hear tht they can come through flames posing as ancestors..

I personally would separate an ancestral space/altar from spell work. If you have to, light the candle on a desk, kitchen table, whatever. But your ancestral altar is not for magick for spells. That’s like eating in the bathroom :-)
