Do I have a bad candle? Rekindle won’t stay lit

Wick was good n tall n flame was regular when I first lit n 5 mins later the entire piece of wood was gone. It went out less than a hour then I relit it’s recharged it was really low then got big n bright for about a hour then a lil low then I woke up this morning it was out. I litbit n recanted haven gotten back home yet. But I lit obsession about a week ago n a big bright high flame the entire time n it completed in about 15 hrs so that was good but y not rekindle. Was it a bad candle, spirit or was the spell done? Help please
