I’m not sure what to think. I burn halo every 6 months and this time i decided to do unhex before halo. Unhex had me feeling empty (kinda sad) after it was done and i couldn’t wait to light halo today. I walked away after i finished chanting and the herbs caught fire. I let it go for about 10 mins but it didn’t settle down. Has this happened to anyone else? I haven’t checked it to see if i can salvage it but the top looked pretty burned 😫😩

It happened crossroads. It’s a good sign tho. Just put the flame out move herbs to the side and restart if the flame gets crazy.
This occurred with my DA candle and it was a very tall flame and it had the smoke alarm going off. When I relit it was back to normal. This also happened with my candle last night, this time I looked at the candle and I could see that certain seeds and herbs were on separate fires outside of the wick and I just kind of put those out and then the candled burned as it normally would with just the wick. I've never dug out the wax etc. And I hope not to have to.
did it melt enough to move the herbs away from wick? It should be salvageable, don't worry!
