Good morning. Ok, so I have a mercury thermometer since high school, but can this be use? It's very hard to find mercury in anything now because of the health risk, even batteries are mercury free. What do you guys think?

I bought a fluorescent light bulb off Amazon with mercury in it. That works just fine. Lala once posted a picture of someone who used it with one of her candles.
