I need a little help here, I’m burning the candle for the first time tonight and it’s on fire!! I have put it out twice because of my smoke detector and I do love the energy but I don’t want my altar to burn. What do I do?!

This is how mine turned out after snuffing just the herbs! If it doesn’t go out don’t worry about
Well now I’m dealing with another issue the flame died down and barely wants to burn. I removed some of the wax which I really don’t like to do and it’s still a small flame like what is going on!
Mine did the same thing! I kept it lit I just snuff the herbs
Ok I re lit it for the 3rd time the herbs have burned to crisp but the flame is tall and wild. It’s cool now I freaked out lol
Move the herbs from the wick. But I love the flame 😍😍
