I'm so confused do we chant for this candle like the other spelled candles or do we sit it on our ancestors altar and just talk to them since it's considered an offering?

You can do either. If you want to use it as a "spelled" candle to cleanse your Bloodline or ask for some assistance from your ancestors then you would have to chant and also wait 3 days between burning other candles. If it's just a part of your regular offerings alongside coffee, fruit etc then no need to chant, just sit with them for a bit 😊 and no need to wait 3 days to do other spell work
