I know it is suggested that we do not light the candles around children. But I would like to know do they have to be completely out of the house or can they be in their room while the process is working? How do you Mother's go about this so I know how to have two little ones and both very sensitive to energy. I also have a balcony but I'm not sure if that's the best way to light it since I have to take wind into consideration. Please let me know some tips to be able to light these candles successfully without it affecting my children.

My alter is set up in my garage. Both doors to enter are pretty heavy, so my two year old can’t come in. It also helps that my husband keeps him away when I need to be alone to do my work. If it gets too smokey, I open the garage door up a little
Hey! I have a 10 year old daughter and infant son. I light my candles in my bedroom.. my daughter is always intrigued and calm. She knows it’s for good purpose. When I went to work, she actually kept an eye on my candle for me. She smiles and says “my mommy is spelling” I usually chant , journal and mediate without either of them near, but then the candle is lit I dont mind if they come by. My boyfriend and daughter know not to blow out the candles. Or touch them.
I burn my candles outside, in my backyard. If it’s windy, I either put the candle in the grill with a lit sage or cover it with an empty flower pot that has a hole at the bottom but elevate it in a baking rack to create air flow. In addition to having a child, my husband doesn’t like the smell of Lala’s candles, and for some reason the energy makes him very mad to the point that he tries to blow them out to spite me 😡
I’ve been conjuring and doing spell work with my daughter in the home. Only thing is I wait until she’s sound asleep and I block her room completely off, while first protecting her energy. Also I pay close attention to her energy the days before and after I do my work, as I do a lot of my work based off her energy. If she’s acting fishy, and out of whack I don’t work until we’re both cleansed.

Thank you so much. My daughter sees things I cannot see but she is never afraid.. i just dont wanna cause her to be uncomfortable and amplify what she already deals with.
I have children and I still light my candles with my children in the house. Once I completely light them I’ve let my children come inside my room but stay away from my altar set up. I do not let them in as much when my candles are burning though compared to when they are not. If they need to quickly come in then that’s fine but they cannot hang inside my room while my candles are in burn mode. It’s really at your discretion. Just be mindful of any and all energies that may come from candle burning with them around the actual candles.
