Halo (1st Round)

A few months ago I burned Halo..

It made me sleepy, just a tiny bit nauseous, and dull headaches here and there. During the few days I burned the candle there were some arguments that happened between my parents that had me worried like is this working? But I kept the faith and realized this must be purging right now, that’s all.

Weeks later, everything calmed down, but the most important result was my relationship with my mother. Over the years due to generational toxicity it has been greatly poisoned. I felt like she lacked understanding,empathy, patience and control of her anger and words. And she felt I lacked respect love and honor for her. So our relationship was a rollercoaster of terrible things said and done from a young age.

Through prayer and working on myself in understanding her things were getting better very slowly. It wasn’t until I lit Halo that I can say my mother and I (whew cue the waterworks) have thee best relationship I thought was impossible to have! She is my best friend, comforter, nurturer, prayer warrior, and we’ve had HEALING conversations, conversations about the importance of healing, breaking generational curses, effective non-confrontational communication,etc. All conversations we would have NEVER had because she would wave them off or not want to listen. Almost two months later and the relationship is still getting better and better.
