So I ordered halo and GF I want to light it for my household two kids and husband do I need to put their name on a petition or chant their name or can I just light it and it’ll be good for everyone? Please help I’m new

Each candle is good for 3 people. You chant their names when you are chanting. You can use the jar method that's in the book when burning for more than one people.
