Lit my DA & the flame was so high & beautiful but it made my all my smoke detectors go off any suggestions on how or where I can relight my candle...it was burning so fierce it smoked up the whole area I hated to have to put it out!

Light the candle first and wait for the wax to melt and then move the herbs around. If you do this with every candle you will avoid having a fire hazard and the candle burning too fast, as well as smoke.
Move the herbs around and relight
