No because the color for all of the sun conjure candles is yellow. If you had the crossroads oil or even the souffle you could dress a yellow or gold candle with either of those and use it with the plate.

You're right it is gold but you can also use yellow. The candles Lala made that were conjure candles combined with one of her spells were always the corresponding color for each particular planet, the only exception is Mercury since any color can be used. I've seen posts where people have used colors that are different than the color for a particular planet but Lala has always said to only use the assigned color for each planet. This is Lala's 1st POSUN/Ahari candle, this is just an example.

I have used plates along with different colored candles and worked very same day for me. I have the 1POS altar. Its fine to use for whatever spell, it just enhances it using the altar and plates.
