I bought the Pappa Legba awhile back but have not burned it. Since then I’ve found myself more drawn to Eleggua. Has anyone had a similar experience and what did you do with your candle? Would it be disrespectful of my to burn it knowing that I’m not going to be seeking him in the future?

After I lit the papa legba candle, things started opening up and clearing out. I wasn’t sure if the lwa was my thing but I still put faith in my request. Since the all of the Orishas have stepped forward. Never in a million years would I have thought I would have been working with them. I light candles with no request for them every week religiously and it makes me sooooo happy to do it. I thought I would forget to do them but they nudge me when it slips my mind. Holy Week was the only week I didn’t light a candle. But...... I lit another candle for papa legba to thank him and elegua was mad, I could feel him. I spoke to him and told him that I respected him, his energy and what he meant to me and my life BUT I will respect all spirits who have come to my aide (regardless of religion). I told him that I do not or am I looking to step on his toes but my soul is very grateful for the doors that have opened up. Since then I have not felt papa legbas energy but I have a loving relationship with elegua and all of the orisha. Erzulie has recently stepped forward and I got confused until I found out that the work she needs me to do isn’t for myself but for another person. I keep looking through the feeds trying to see people’s interaction with her but I have yet to see much of anything. And YouTube makes it seem impossible for me to work with her as she is picky.
I thought they were the same person just the name pronounced differently. Idk I may be wrong tho
