I burn everything after - petitions, pictures and chants (if I wrote them out). If I happened to have burned the candle out all the way, I burn the petition inside the candle jar. Otherwise, I light it from the flame of the candle before I put the candle out and let it burn in a fire-safe bowl. If I want something to come to me, I sprinkle the ashes in my front yard. If otherwise, I send them away from me in the trash (in a black bag and outside of my house, never put them in the trash inside my house). One of these days I'll find a running creek or a crossroad somewhere and they can go into the world that way...lol.. Basically dispose of the ashes the same as you would the candle, if you do burn them.
I prefer the burning the petition more. Only because when I started going back to read all of the petitions, I realized that I wasn’t letting it go, like I didn’t fully release it to the universe. When I started burning it, I would completely let it go. There’s times when it would come to me right away and other times it took MONTHS but when it came I would literally say “hey, I manifested that! Perfect timing”.
You don’t have to. I use to keep them at first because I was curious to see later on down the road if what I asked for manifested and also how it manifested with what I wrote. But now, yes, I burn it afterwards (outside so the wind can take it)
