The size should be fine..charge it up first. Pyrite can't be placed in water or shouldn't get wet. So first clear it by holding it in your hand imagining a white light around it , if you can go bury it in the ground for a as long as you can (at least a few hours) to charge it or place somewhere it can get sunlight to charge, ( I sometimes place mine in the car on the dash) but ground charging is best

I doubt that the size would matter much. I’m not even sure why i bought a stone this size but it’s big as the palm of my hand lol
