Hi all! I live in a studio (more like a large room) so i have very limited space. I have my ancestor altar/place I do spiritual work. Is it OK to put burn the spelled candles on there aslong as I don't have any other candles burning at the same time? Thank you!

Yes ive noticed that my ancestors dont allow me to do anything but protection work on their altar. You can seperate it somehow, any way that you can. I was where you are. Do what you gotta do love seriously. You will soon have more space than you can imagine.
Ancestors, lwas, orishas and etc need their own space it doesn’t matter how small.,

OK thank you! What if I was to put a small shelf on top of my work altar dedicated to my ancestors? Would that be OK you think?
You can but it depends on your ancestors. Mine dont like for me to do anything outside of cleansing and protect work on their altar. I was also always told not to do any work on your ancestors altar unless its ancestral work, therefore if your asking them to help you in the work it should be fine.
