Hi everyone! So I don’t know if anybody can relate to this, but I don’t exactly know how to honor my ancestors, which I know is a very important part of any hoodoo or spiritual work, especially with Lala’s candles. I’m Italian-Irish and Puerto Rican, so my family is of course devout Roman Catholics, and doesn’t exactly like the fact that I do spiritual work, which I believe would be the same for my ancestors, who probably hate the fact that I’m not practicing Catholicism. What way can I honor them without them being offended or upset that I practice hoodoo and spiritual work? Any advice you have is more than welcome!✨

Have you thought about DNA test to know more about your ancestry? ...I just sent my DNA sample in & I'm super excited.
They might enjoy a corner with photos, flowers, and something that honours their beliefs that were important to them. Maybe a cross necklace looped over the corner of one of the frames...a candle...maybe things from their homelands!
