I hope this is an appropriate question to ask. Don’t want to disrespect the forum. I wanted to know if there was anywhere Lala had information about creating an ancestor altar? ive always had gifts since a kid and wasn’t able to really explore and learn. I was told that would be a great place to start but I want to do it right and honor them. Thank you.

Setting up an ancestral altar can be as basic or as elaborate as you want. There are basic things that you should have on your altar, a white tablecloth, water (it could be a glass or several glasses), a (white) candle, Florida water, fresh flowers, rum (or a liquor your ancestor’s liked), pictures of your deceased relatives, if you don’t have pictures, you can make a list of all your deceased relatives), a Bible or whichever religious book (Torah, Qu’ran, book of prayers, etc) you used. These are a few things that can get you started on your ancestral altar. There are also some very good books that you can educate yourself on ancestor veneration. I hope this helps.
