I’m burning the 4th pentacle of Jupiter and it’s almost done. Do I have to burn my petition in it towards the end or is that not necessary?

I just put the petitions in the candle when it’s done and put the lid on and discard ir
Put into the flame and let it burn
It’s not necessary since it’s not in Lala’s book but I do.
