I’m participating in the Legba Rite today and was supposed to light my 3X intense candle prior to today. Is it ok for it to still be burning while the rite is being performed?

It will be better if you had a halo candle on hand, but if all you have is the intense candle then light it up, and be specific to chant not to undo any prior or current workings.
