I know conjure candles need an altar with offerings. Can spelled candles be burned anywhere in the house? I know with the herbs the flames can get pretty high and I want to be able to keep an eye on it just in case.

What about the window? Can we place the candle by the window to avoid smoke ? And is it ok if the smoke goes outside the window directly? Or it has to be in the center of the room?
I’ve burned my spelled candles in every room of my home. The kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom, etc. I know the book says to make sure the space you burn the candle in is clean. So I thoroughly clean and sage the room before burning it. I’m not saying this is “right”, but I have seen results every time.
We can burn it in our bathroom as well? It’s not a disrespect to the spirits? Just asking.. so that even i can follow the same
I burn mine in the bathtub on a metal plate or in a bowl of water that’s placed in a metal baking sheet.
