It depends on your situation. Was communication cut off completely? Was there an argument? Current status of relationship?
Wait till they contact you. But you are the target for DA, if you put your targets info under the candle then they will get the spell and others will be attracted to him.. you'll have to start over with unhex if thats what happened...
