Thank you! That is so helpful! I have indeed seen the High John post and am currently trying to get my hands on a root - I am based in Europe. Okay, that is an interesting combination of rituals that I will definitely try! I have done the Mercury Rite on this situation in the past (and also burned 2nd and 5th Pent of Merc at home about it), and have burned the 1st Pent of the Sun at home about it but have never had the Sun rite. I recently tried a new combination on him - 3rd Pent and 4th Pent of Venus together with the Rekindle intense burned at home on a Friday with the Lust/Bella Eriss rubbed on the green candle offerings, then Papa Legba rite by Lala that following Monday and Erzulie Freda rite by Lala on the Friday of that same week and sis, he came back that Sunday (72h after Erzulie) after 8 weeks of no contact, the strongest he has ever come - told me he loves me after 5 years, showed me all traces of his ex were gone, made love to me all night, asked me to stay with him the following day…and then guess what!!! On the Monday he changed his mind sis! He literally turned around and said “you need to leave, I can’t do this”. The frustration!!!!!!

I think he might have something wrong with him- like it’s not you. I’m speaking from experience, like as if I was once him. I once had this amazing man and we had this amazing connection and everything was amazing but, it and him were sort of too amazing for me at that time, LOL! But I’m serious. Here’s what I would do: The Sun and Mercury Rites with Lala, do them in the same month with same petition or pretty similar. Also put Sun blessings on all your future work. Then in addition to these rites, do healing, self-esteem, self-love type stuff on him. I think he might be like me and have secret low self-esteem that he maybe doesn’t realize consciously. Like, maybe you two are *that* good together- so good it’s scary AF if you stop and think about it. Like me, I actually preferred to wreck stuff instead of face my fears. He brought out something me I had never known I possessed. It was awesome but it scared me and it pushed me. I felt like I was on steroids, growing faster than I could keep up. I think if you do Sun and Mercury with Lala it spiritually brings extra support. 🌞🌈🕯✨🕯✨🕯✨💥🔥🔥🔥🥳

I have a question now that the period blood is being mentioned. How do y’all use the period blood 🩸? Sorry I am new to this and I have never used it but how can you use it like in what way? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Hi darling - well the most traditional way to use it in spell work is to feed it to a man you want to bind to you. There is no incantation and no ritual, literally just the fact that they have consumed your period blood should be enough to bind them to you (there are old traditional hoodoo recipes that mask the taste of blood, such as tomato sauce for pasta or chocolate cake). Or of course he can go to town on you while you’re on your period, that works too 😂 If you don’t want to or can’t feed it to them, you can use it in spell work. Unlike fresh blood, I wouldn’t give “dirty” period blood as an offering to spirits, but a way of using it would be to rub some over your target’s picture before placing it under your candle, or you can also use some inside a poppet if you are making one.
