When you light these candles you need to monitor them at first and move the herbs. You need a pot top nearby as well as something to move the herbs. Lala even refers to this as "working" the candle. And while you have your candles spread out. You don't have any thing under them. I burn mine on a metal plate. I actually burn them in a pyrex bowl on top of a metal plate.
Candles can get out of control esp the Intense ones.
The only one I am comfortable leaving completely unattended is a Conjure candle.
GurleGurl..sisssss..you have to read the booklet. Only the Ahari candle and 1st Pentacle of the Sun candle can be burned with a another candle..not because Ahari is in the candle means you can use it like that..it’s just a an additional layer in that candle to make the spell stronger..which is why they are called “Layers”..hope this also helps
This is not all the way accurate, you can burn Mercury with other candles. Layer candles are a mix of spelled and conjure candles. Intense candles are a mix of spelled candles.

less than 10 minutes that I lit the candlesSIRE formed two cracks in the glass Ahari | Goodfortune | Crossroads flames started growing higher and wildlyUnfortunately, I had to put water and baking soda on the last two candles to avoid a tragic accident from happening
@Simplyme The flames were too wide and high for me to place the lid on top. SIRE has three cracks in the glass jar so I can’t use it again.I had to put out the flames on two of the candles using baking soda. I don’t know if I can reuse Ahari | GF | CR with baking soda on it
@GurleGurl the most important thing is your safe. GF/Crossroads/Ahari is one of those candles that you have to keep an eye on. I always have a knife or spoon nearby to smother the herbs and even at the bottom of this candle, I do not have these issues.
@Simplyme SIRE is the one that cracked in multiple places.GF | CR | Ahari flames were extremely wild and was creating the same pattern that SIRE formed so I put out the flames with baking soda.You’re right, thank heavens I’m safe 😔
Yes I HAD them burning at the same time but SIRE and Goodfortune | Crossroads | Ahari flames were too wild, the glass cracked on SIRE and both of the flames had to put out by baking soda 💔
It was less than 10 minutes. The candles had to be put out by baking soda because the flames grew too high and wild to be snuffed and there was no way for me to put the lid back on the candle to put it out 💔
GurleGurl next time you burn your candles keep a skillet nearby so that if the flames are too high for you to comfortably put them out with the lids just go ahead and smothered the flames with the skillet that way you can avoid using the baking soda.

You have fame/ahari/sire and gf/cr burning at the same time?
If it's near the end, yes. If it's just beginning, NO. Snuff them and gently move the herbs away from the wick.
