You may use the XL candle for up to three people, and sometimes even more. But keep in mind that the more people the candle covers, the less energy each person gets. It’s like sharing a pizza pie. As for a set up. You want to make sure you light the candles in a clean space. The more aesthetically pleasing you make the set up, the more you’ll get in a magickal mood. I like to use a table cloth corresponding to the color of what I’m conjuring (red for love, yellow for success, green for money) and add some crystals that correspond to what I am conjuring. I also like to add a small glass of water and a tealight candle for all spelled candles, as a mini offering to spirits helping and/or ancestors.

You don’t have to have an actual altar set to burn the spelled candles. Just make sure the area you will burn the candles in is clean. Also you can use the one XL candle for up to three people.
