I lit my Halo candle around 12pm it has been burning really high with black smoke the entire time. Should I be concerned?

Did you cleanse the are prior to burning? Sage or Florida water first. Also before I get my sage (it was still on the mail) I literally cleaned the area I was burning the candle, open windows to let negative energy out.
