Hi 😊 Everyone’s pretty much answered… however, I’d like to add that your herbs of choice will be dependent on your intention. For example, if you’d like to attract something or someone.. you’d use sweetness, like honey, cinnamon or basil, etc. For dispelling, protection, and/or banishing… you’d use St. John’s Wort, sage or ground up clove. Lala also still has herbs, according, to spell on the site (I think 🤔) You can YouTube how to dress a plain candle. There’s plenty of videos. But ultimately, follow your intuition and what feels right, in regards to how you dress your candle. You don’t need to dress it, if you have the plate, but for extra layering… you can! 🤗
No you don’t have to with a plate. It’s optional, the spell is already done on them
