Quick question can I make a petition to put under this candle when I light? If so what do I do with the petition after I’m done?

That’s what I do. Once I’m done, I burn the petition by using the flame from the candle and sitting it in my cauldron (plate or bowl) since it’s fire proof or if the candle is about to go out, I just let it burn in there.
