Is this supposed to happen?

Is it me or does the picture look distorted? Yes, from other posts I've seen, the jar may crack or break if it gets too hot

The picture is distorted not sure why it uploaded like that. That is the intense candle. How do I dispose of it? Its not in my booklet?
