I plan to let my candle burn while I am at work. Is the mirror plate ok or can i place it in a pot with water to be on the safe side?

Thank you ladies! I ended up leaving it in a frying pan with 2 inches of water. And came home to a safe home and candle
Amazon i ordered some metal candle plates and I also got come cast iron Pans they r the best
These herbs been getting crazy on me lately. lol. I used to leave them but I would probably put them in the sink or in a stock pot or something. I burned them on a marble slate or a metal pan. I see quite a few plates from dollar tree on alters, they look metal but they are plastic.
Also, scoot the herbs away from wick so they wont catch fire. Always use a heat resistant candle plate for your candles. The heat may get so high it breaks the mirror plate. I like to place mine in Cast iron bowl or cast iron cauldron/pot. You can use pie pans, pizza pan, stock pot to put in tub if you need to. Happy and safe burning!
Or you can use a metal pan/cookie sheet
