When lighting legba do u need an alter? All i put was some hot sauce, water, coffee and pennies.. Thinking of buying another candle and re-doing it...

You need a set up, Candy, rum, cane or crutch, keys, toys, additional candles are optional., straw hat. Make him feel welcomed. I don’t know where the hot sauce comes into play
