question if I do the legba rite by lala i don’t still have to burn that candle myself if I wanted to pursue continued usage of conjure candles 🕯?

Correct, you do not have to burn the Legba candle yourself after the Rite. A Legba candle or rite isn’t required before Solomonic (planet) conjure candle. If you would like to build a relationship with Papa Legba, you can burn his candle regularly.
