Why do people come on this app and want to work with papa legba if they think he is evil I'm just curious because from my eyes he is awesome he's helpful he's basically the one who will open doors for you if you just ask and stop thinking he is evil it's makes no sense but free answers are welcome

Alot of people get baron and legba confused
Legba is usually incorrectly portrayed as Baron Samedi, also Lwa, is head of the Ghede and father of the dead (Guardian of the dead). Hollywood likes his look, but they know Papa Legba's name and they portray Legba with Samedi's appearances and mannerisms. Which are completely opposite of Legba's. It helps continue the narrative that Voudoo and African based religions are evil or bad, because Samedi's appearances is dark and evil-looking. This gets carried over into art, fictional writing etc. Unless a person has educated themselves, they don't know until they've learned better.
Unfortunately there has been individuals who watch television and the image shown is Baron ( Haitian Diety of the Dead/Transitioned) yet they say it’s Papa Legba. I found it challenging to believe some of the comments and questions are real. It appears at times “troll”
