So when setting up an altar for the LOA like Legba Erzulie and Damballah it’s said to go through papa legba first o be granted access to the spirit world. Once his altar is set up and I’d like to work with another LOA do I keep his altar up? Is it disrespectful to take the altars down and put them up or do they need to be kept up. Say I want to work with legba and erzulie obviously they need separate altars but if I’m doing this in my room would I leave papas altar up for a while then make one for erzulie ? What’s the most respectful way to work with the LOAs if I don’t have too much room ? Any tips and advice appreciated thank you !

I have permanent altars in my home and Damballah can share an altar with eruzulie. They are married.
