I have a weird question, let's say two people are using mars and one does a spell on the other, is it going to bounce back on the one who did it since they're both protected, or maybe it just won't work?

Mars is defensive. It is like an armored car.
I really think it would/could depend on various things.
Like if you’re both in armored cars and shooting at each other maybe nothing will happen.
But you know, an armored car is not impervious to destruction. Someone can get a missal. Some James Bond type person could get poisonous gas in through the ventilation system.
A better driver and the right road could cause a fatal accident.
