I went to a couple local pharmacies & only tend to find thermometers that are mercury free 🤔 what can I use instead?

Any fluorescent light bulb. Lowes and home depot
You could use the round batteries they use with watches.

Yeah, if it has Mercury
I guess we can't use mercury in different forms? Cinnabar is a stone that contains mercury; could that be used?
These light bulbs have mercury in them, check label to make sure its one made with mercury.
